Dr Aris Latham, a world renowned food scientist and propagator of raw food conducted a workshop on Raw Food on 3rd December 2014, at Hotel Radisson Blu, Chennai, to highlight the health benefits of consuming raw food. Our students were invited to handle delegate coordination, assist the scientist during demonstration sessions and help in smooth conduct of the workshop.

10 students & 2 Faculty members from the Faculty of Hotel Management and Catering Technology participated in this workshop and worked in close quarters with a world renowned food scientist. This workshop gave an exposure about raw food to our second and third year students. Further, it gave them an opportunity to meet and interact with Radisson Blu chefs and officials of other departments.
