BULK SWEET PRODUCTION – 2013

Faculty of Hotel Management and Catering Technology of Dr, MGR Educational & Research Institute University, chose to prepare 2000 KGS. of bulk sweets of different varieties on the occasion of the Ayudha Pooja day and celebrate the festival in a manner that was grand. The primary task concerning preparation of 2000 kgs. of 5 different types of sweets was taken up and then to distribute them to all the departmental heads and the employees of the University management members, faculty, staff and others.

Students of the department were the main workforce involved for planning and executing the grand task of bulk sweet making under the guidance of the faculty members. It was a great learning and experience to the students. The faculty members were present all through and taking lead in the performance of the huge task, its completion and also ensuring the distribution of the sweets.
