RECIPE TESTING BY DR. CHEF SOUNDARARAJAN – 2014

Recipe testing by a dignitary Chef is something that happens to the great advantage of the students. The students of the Faculty of Hotel Management & Catering Technology were fortunate to have the renowned Dr. Chef Soundararajan, Corporate Chef of Mahindra Holidays Limited and Gen. Secretary, Indian Federation of Culinary Associations, for recipe testing on the 23rd and 24th December, 2014,. Chef Henry Rajagopal accompanied Dr. Chef Soundararajan.

Recipe testing is all about trying the recipe in a kitchen before being published to ensure it can be replicated effortlessly by others. Dr. Chef Soundararajan had tested several recipes using traditional ingredients along with his colleague for 2 days. It was a great learning for the students of the department who had the rare privilege of having the legendary Chef working in close quarters with them.
