Do vegetarians get adequate proteins?

The aim of organizing this webinar is to educate the students about significance of protein content in vegetarian diet and its various benefits contributing to our good health.

Protein intake of vegetarians and vegans are lesser than their requirements as per the RDA, India. Vegetarians usually obtain proteins from a variety of plant sources such as legumes, soy products, grains, nuts and seeds. Protein deficiency has various harmful effects on the human health. A balanced diet with inclusion of variety of plant sources of protein was the highlight of the webinar. A brief highlight on workout nutrition, pre and post meals encouraged students to relate with their regular working out schedules was briefed. Webinar focused on eating right, staying physically active and being positive can help maintain a healthy life.
