HMCT department planned a series of Faculty Development Programs for the benefit of Department Chefs and others, who look for the expert skills of the highly renowned and Internationally popular Chefs. The Chefs who did the FDPs are now associated with the Department of Culinary Arts of Dr. MGR E & R I. The Faculty Development Program conducted by the Chef Vijay Bhaskar was one of such select programs which the department feels highly prviliged to hold, which was also shot as HD Course film for the future education of the students of HMCT. The program featured 3 days (21th December to 23rd December, 2021), happening at the “Advance Training Kitchen” Hotel Management & Catering Technology, MGR Block, Dr. MGR E&R I, Chennai. The first day of the session was streamed on virtual mode to the Hotel Management & Catering Technology Students of the First Year on the topic “Menu planning and Food cost.”The Department of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Dr. MGR has Uniqueness attached to the Programs – UG, PG & Diploma – which they offer, in the form of the Highly renowned and Internationally well-acclaimed Chefs in India as their Visiting Faculty members
