1st National Conference
Faculty of Hotel management, culinary arts and de-novo courses, Department of Psychology from Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute has organised their 1st national conference on 29th october 2021 at the Banquet Hall, MGR Block, Phase II campus between 10.00 am – 6.00 pm.
BODHISMRITI 2021 – emphasises on the concept of Indian Psychology by having a guest lecture on the Indian Psychology integrated in ancient tamil literature by Mr.K. Venkatesan , Former Prinicipal, Vivekanda Educational Society, then proceeded with a Panel discussion on the Indian culture and upbringing of children by Psychiatrist, Psychologists, HR trainer.
Later on the same day, the students of the departement have actively participated and presented their research papers chaired by Mr. Sudhakar, Clinical Psychologist and Mrs. Kavitha Dhanraj, Assistant Professor and Clinical Psychologist. The conference aims at bringing the students a broad exposure to the different fields of Psychology.
