The Global Culinary Exchange 2015 was staged by IFCA as a national event with international relevance on account of the presence of international level Chefs and the activities that drew the attention of the international chef fraternity. The event was held at ITC Maurya, New Delhi, on September 27 and 28, 2015.
Hon’ble President – Er. ACS Arun Kumar of Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute University graced the occasion. The international delegates’ presence was made by the reputed Chefs – Chef Thomas Gugler, Chef Rick Stephen, Chef Dragan Unic, Chef Domenico Maggi, Chef Ragnar Fridrikson, Chef Miroslav Kubec, Chef Helgi Einnarsson and Chef Murry Dick, Chef Manjit Singh Gill, Dr. Chef Soundararajan, Chef Manish Bhasin. On the memorable occasion, Chef Gaurav of ITC Maurya briefed the volunteers from IHM Delhi about their role prior to world Chef board meeting. Chef Rick Stephen, WACS Culinary director for Asia and Dr. Chef Soundararajan – WACS Education Committee member and Genl. Secretary Indian Federation of Culinary Associations, and Chef Charles Carroll, President WACS Chefs Association, enlightened the delegates on various developments.
Mr. ACS Arun Kumar, President, Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute University received certificates of appreciation and memento from Dr. Chef Soundararajan on behalf of the students of Faculty of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Pastry Chef Asia 2015 Winners received the trophy from the Chef Charles Carroll.
