Our students from the Department of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts showcased their talent and passion at the Incredible Chef Challenge (ICC) 2024, held from June 13 to 15, 2024, at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru. This prestigious 3-day competition brought together professional chefs and culinary students from across the country, celebrating the art of culinary excellence.
Preparing for Competition
On June 10, our students set out for Bengaluru with excitement and determination, ready to represent our institution at ICC 2024. Upon reaching, they were warmly welcomed by Raja Rajeswari Medical College & Hospital (RRMCH), where they stayed during the competition. Watch on YouTube.
The next two days, June 11 and 12, were spent preparing meticulously. The students sourced fresh, high-quality ingredients from local markets and practiced tirelessly at the RRMCH facilities. The Competition
From June 13 to 15, our students competed in six out of seven categories, with some participating in multiple events. Their skills, creativity, and teamwork shone brightly. The competition was judged by a distinguished panel of globally renowned chefs, making every achievement even more commendable.

Their efforts were richly rewarded as they secured an astounding 42 medals:
- 4 Gold Medals
- 12 Silver Medals
- 26 Bronze Medals
Additionally, they received several merit certificates, demonstrating their hard work and dedication to their craft.
A Week of Gratitude and Learning
On June 16, as the competition concluded, students and faculty reflected on their transformative week. They expressed heartfelt gratitude to Raja Rajeswari Medical College & Hospital for their hospitality and support throughout their stay.
