The Research based event – ‘Milleric – Chefs for Change’ was a call to the Young Chefs to do research & Present Papers on Millet Food at Grand, T-Nagar, Chennai-600017. The event concerning Research was organized by Parikshan to promote Young Chefs to get into Research on Millets as popular foods.

Out of the 21 Students who participated in the Research Paper presentations, 18 students (17 students of Food science, Nutrition and Dietetics and 01 Student of B.A. Culinary Arts II Year) came up to SEMI-FINALS.

Ms. M. Muthu Chippi (Individually) of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, won the First Prize.

First prize carried Rs.10000/- Cash Award and the Recognition Certificate.

Mr. G. Arun Sevugan. & Ms. R. Shazia (as a team) from B.A. Culinary Arts I Year, got III Prize.
Each got the prize money of Rs.5000/- each and a Certificate of Appreciation.

The Winners were honoured on the Stage on the event day – the 18th October, 2023.
